505 Debug Mode (Generic Amongst Various 505 Applications)
Written 7/2012 / Updated 11/2012

The 505 (all versions) Debug Mode includes tunable values that are not intended to be modified by the average end user, however, a few configurable values end users may need to modify are accessed via the Debug Mode.   The Debug Mode interface is more cryptic and less intuitive than the more public Program Mode or Service Mode.  Woodward's public literature for the Debug Mode is limited.  Detailed block information similar to documentation for Program Mode and Service Mode block information is no longer included in the 505 manual (although it was some years back for the standard 505). There is some information listed in the Standard 505 manual 85017v2 under the Operator Interface Chapter 3 (Tasker edit).  There are various routes to get to the Debug Mode.  Specific instructions on one of the routes is noted in Woodward 505E Application Note 51346 (Tasker Edit).  The specific Debug mode blocks will vary amongst the 505 variations, but the method for entering the Debug mode is the same.
